Down River, Deep Root: A Spokane Poetry Anthology - Launch and Release Party

Today I’m very excited to announce the release of the newest Carbonation Press anthology: Down River, Deep Root: A Spokane Poetry Anthology. With over 60 contributors who are currently living or have previously lived in Spokane, this is a truly local anthology. The various themes of this book include home and liminality. The anthology was guest edited by local poets Margaret Albaugh, Asyia Gover, Dorian Karahalios, Sarah Rooney, and Jessi Vasquez. The book features original artwork and was designed by Kate J. Reed (Party Krill).

We are aiming for the launch date to be between now and February 21, which is when the release party will take place: 4-7pm at Patera Temperance Lounge in East Central, Spokane. More info forthcoming!
